About

Adam James Cardello studied painting and printmaking, and received his BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. After MassArt, he studied painting in France, at Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art, under the late professor Robert Reed of Yale University. In 2004, Cardello moved to New York, where he learned woodworking and pursued musical ambitions before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, and finally settling in Los Angeles. Over the last decade he has worked on interiors, primarily doing furniture, accessory, and custom framing design. Meanwhile in the studio, his focus has returned to painting. He has exhibited in France, New York, and at multiple galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
